Technology
In the choice of technologies for specific requirements, there is a balance between the benefits and the overheads for the
complexity of the architecture used. MAI Technology uses a common architecture for all its clients which has been developed
specifically addresses the following overheads:
- Development speed
- Standardised self documenting requirements
- Maintainence
- Handover for either in house or third party development
- Self generating GUIs allowing seperation of business logic from
front end design
Applications are developed according to the MAI Arch ( Mai Technology Architecture ) interfaces and standards which
address the most common requirement issues and use tried and tested code modules.
MAI Architecure Technology uses the following open source technologies.
- JAVA
- J2EE Bean definitions
- Struts
- JDBC ( for all ODBC complient databases e.g. MySQL, ORACLE, Access, Informix)
